Our accompanying program

The jobmesse deutschland tour offers applicants the opportunity to meet their dream company in person and present their strengths and skills “face-to-face” without waiting for an invitation to an interview. Not only do the exhibition stands present career opportunities – the accompanying program also offers valuable services. Our career events always provide several of the following program items:

Application portfolio check

The application portfolio is the career-seeker’s business card. It must convince the reader of the candidate’s abilities and lead to an invitation to an interview. The challenge is to be noticed at first glance, since personnel managers receive many applications every day. Therefore, it is essential to not send a cookie-cutter application, but instead to present oneself professionally as an individual with unique skills and talents. To help job-seekers master this challenge, the experts at the career event examine application portfolios with a trained eye.

Application photo service

Many applicants are not aware of the importance of their application photograph. A flattering photo conveys competence and a sympathetic personality, and greatly increases the candidate’s chance of being selected for the shortlist. The career event’s photo service provides visitors with the perfect application photo.

What career is right for me? How do I write an application that’s up to current standards? How do I make a good first impression? These are the sort of questions that visitors bring to the career event. They can find answers from the many lectures and presentations held by experts in various fields. The presentations conclude with the speaker answering listeners’ questions.

Application workshops

Career and business consultant Kablitz’s stand shouldn’t be passed by! In his workshops career coach Ulrich Kablitz uses concrete examples to give useful tips for applications, interviews and self-presentation.

Shining a light on the law

To make sure they are on secure legal ground, applicants and employers can consult the service “Frag den Anwalt” (“Ask the Attorney”). During the exhibition weekend legal experts are there to answer all questions visitors may have. Services include practical insights into employment and contract law as well as one-on-one conversations at the exhibition stand.

We will gladly inform you about each host city’s additional individual services.
